We are pleased to announce the 2010 Annual Member and Guest Tournament
on Monday, October 4th at Hokuli’a was a great success!
Mahalo to the participating members and guests of the Hawaii Leeward Planning Conference and the Hawaii Island Economic Development Board.

This was the 15th annual tournament for HLPC and the 5th for HIEDB.  This year, the 15th placed team, Gary Ignacio and Riley Chong (HELCO) won Grand Prizes in honor of HLPC, and the 5th placed team, Sean Pahio and Keith Lindsey (Business Services Hawaii) won Grand Prizes in honor of HIEDB.  The Tournament Champion prize was awarded to Jerry Akers and Tony Cann (HPM Building Supply). Big Island Toyota sponsored a $10,000 prize to the player who shot a Hole-in-One on Hokuli’a’s signature Hole #13... no lucky winner this year! Closest to the Pin was won by Kyle Pang (Queen Lili'oukalani Trust), Most Accurate Drive was won by Claude Onizuka (Hokuli'a), and Longest Drive was won by Jason Macy (West Hawaii Concrete).

One of the purposes of the tournament is to provide an opportunity for HLPC and HIEDB members to build, develop and strengthen relationships with Hawaii’s business leaders. All tournament proceeds are earmarked for community planning and general civic benefit.
